Assoc. Prof. Flt.Lt. Dr. Kontorn Chamniprasart is a distinguished academic leader and researcher in mechanical and mechatronics engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, USA, and has over three decades of experience in academia, research, and higher education leadership.

At Suranree University of Technology, he has served as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Internationalization, Dean of the Institute of Engineering, and Chairperson of multiple engineering programs, including Mechatronics, Precision, and Modern Automotive Engineering. He was also Chairman of the Council of Deans of Engineering Faculties of Thailand (2014–2015).

His research spans mechatronics, robotics, machine vision, intelligent manufacturing systems, automotive engineering, and sustainable technologies. He has published widely in international journals and conferences and has led numerous national projects on smart systems, Industry 4.0, renewable energy, and workforce upskilling for Thailand’s future industries.

Recognized for his leadership and contributions, Dr. Chamniprasart has received prestigious awards such as the Thailand Education Leadership Award (2018) and CEO Thailand Award (2017). In 2023, he was honored with the Outstanding Academic Staff Award in Teaching from Suranree University of Technology.

As a keynote speaker at ICADME, Dr. Chamniprasart will deliver a visionary talk on “Fourth Industrial Revolution and Clean Energy”, highlighting the synergies between advanced manufacturing, automation, and sustainable energy systems that are shaping the future of engineering and society.
