The International Conference on Applications and Design in Mechanical Engineering 2017 (ICADME 2017) will be held on 21-22 August 2017 in Penang, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Malaysia. ICADME 2017 is organized by School of Mechatronic Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis

The ICADME 2017 aims to provide a platform for participants from diverse field of Mechanical Engineering backgrounds to exchange ideas and findings to promote cooperation, networking as well as knowledge sharing in both engineering practice and research in higher education. Manuscripts having focus on theory, applications, design and/or experimental studies relevant to this conference are invited. Other related topics for submission include, but not limited to:

• Applied Mechanics and Design

Fracture Mechanics, Fatigue, Machinery Dynamics, Condition monitoring, Machine Design, Concurrent Engineering, Finite element analysis, Noise and Vibration analysis, Computer aided engineering design, Manufacturing, Rapid Prototyping, Tribology, Aerospace, Composite, Reverse Engineering,Design Optimization.

• Energy and Thermofluids

Energy Conversion System, Renewable Energy, Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Heat Exchangers, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Alternative Energy, Internal Combustion Engines, and Turbomachines

Submission of Papers

All the submitted papers should be written in English, original, unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Papers submitted to the conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All papers will be blind reviewed by two reviewers. Paper Acceptance

Each accepted paper must be presented by one of the authors after paying the necessary registration fee. All accepted papers will be published in IOP Journal of Physics: Conference Series (indexed by ISI Web of Science (Conference Proceedings Citation Index-Science), Scopus, EI Compendex, etc).
