Text Length
Text length indicates the length of the text. To rank well in the search engines, a blog post should contain some minimum amount of words. Long posts will get easily ranked rather than short posts. From posts more than 1000 words, the search engines get more clues to determine what the text is about.
How text length works
To determine whether your post will rank or not, you need to find the length of the text. For that, you need to know how many words the page has and how much it should contain. There are three indications in the SEO section that will help you know the number of words and if you need to extend the text amount or not.
- Red: If total number of words of the whole page is less than 250 words then a red alert will show and it will suggest you to increase the number of words to increase the length of the text
- Orange: If total number of words of the whole page is more than 250 but less than 300 words, then an orange alert will show and it will suggest you to increase the length of the text.
- Green: If total number of words of the whole page is more than 300 words, then a green alert will show and it will let you know that the length of the text is perfect.
